National Short story

We choose a tale of our local area and after reading, discusssing it with our students, we interpret it in English firstly , and secondly ,as a follow up activity, we prepare a kind of dramatization or alternatively we spare time for drawing in relation with the tale.Then we send students’ works as power point presentations or video recorded to the other countries.Similarly we follow the above procedure after receiving the tales of the other countries.It is important that we highlight similarities or differencies among the tales thus emphasizing on the cultural elements raised.The final outcome is a book consisting of all the woksheets the kids prepared as regards the tales.

To get to know tales of other countries To speculate on the similarities and differencies of other cultures with ours To use the tales as a means of artistic expression(though drawings, collage,music, dance) To realize that they belong to a wider family ,that of the European one To cooperate and have fun hide
Work process:
October:Selecting the tale and introducing our school and ourselves to other schools though pictures ,videos or powerpoint. November-December:Preparation of our tale and working on the outcome to be shared with the other school(drawings,collages,dramatizations)in the form of video or powerpoint. January-February-March-April:We work on the others’ tales and prepare a video or a powerpoint (the time spared depends on the the number of the participants) May:Project completion and presentation to our school and our partners. hide
Expected results:
Through accomplishing the aims we will arise the students’ awarenes of their own culture within a wider cultural community thus appreciating their own identity towards and along the other nations.hide

Նոր դպրոցի հատակագիծը

Ի՜նչ հրաշալի է ավազների հետ խաղալը:  Մենք ցականում էինք խաղալ, բայց ավազը թաց էր, քանի որ նախորդ օրը անձրև էր եկել: Եվ դա մեզ ավելի լավ միտք տվեց, մենք որոշեցինք ավազի  վրա պատկերել Նոր դպրոցը: Գլուխ գլխի տվեցինք և դպրոցի հատակագիծը նկարեցինք : Կարծում եմ, ստացվեց: Այնքա՜ն լավ էր, որ նույնիսկ չէինք էլ ցանկանում դպրոց վերադառնալ:
